    Facility Staffing Scheduler

     

    Position is Full Time, Friday-Tuesday, 8am-5pm, $13.75/hr-$14.00/hr, DOE

    Position Summary:

     

    The Facility Staffing Scheduler reports to the Scheduling Supervisor and is responsible for staffing all shifts for Casa's 2 Inpatient Units and Kanmar Place.  Additionally, the Facility Staffing Scheduler enters visit schedules in electronic clinical record, coordinates coverage for sick calls and changes in patient needs.

    Responsibilities

     

    1. Staff IPUs and Kanmar Place LNA’s, Caregivers, LPNs and RNs. 
    2. Coordinate/rearrange visit schedules for sick calls and changes in patient needs.
    3. Accurately enters visit schedules in electronic clinical record and maintains proper documentation of staffing functions.
    4. Coordinate staffing with supervisors and staffing agencies.
    5. Decision making within the scope of the position responsibilities, includes organizing, planning and prioritization of tasks.
    6. Provides excellent customer service to clinical staff, patients, families and their caregivers.
    7. Maintains the confidentiality of patient and agency information at all times.
    8. Adheres to Casa’s Mission, Core Values and Job non-negotiables.
    9. Performs other specific projects as required.   

    Qualifications

    1. Previous health care experience in staffing preferred.
    2. Ability to work as a team member and/or with little supervision.
    3. Must have strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
    4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    5. Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
    6. Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook) are a must. 
    7. High school diploma or equivalent.
